I wore a cute day dress with the intention of being a cute house wife making cookies for Christmas!
Snickerdoodles:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Whisk together:
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
Beat in large bowl:
1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)
1 1/2 cups sugar
Then add
2 large eggs
Stir in flour mixture
In a separate bowl combine 1/4 cup sugar and 4 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
Shape dough into 1 inch ball, roll in the cinnamon mixture
Bake one sheet at a time until cookies are light golden brown at the edge (~12 minutes)
Cool on a rack!
